International Boxing Federation super-bantamweight champion Manny Pacquiao leads an elite field of Filipino 2003 world and international champions who will be honored in the Elorde Banquet of Champions.
They will be feted during the fourth Gabriel ?Flash? Elorde Boxing Awards Night set on March 25 at the Dusit Hotel Nikko in Makati City.
Pacquiao, however, will be represented in the rites since he is set to leave for the US today.
Pacquiao will be joined by former champion Harold Gomes, who will receive the Gabriel ?Flash? Elorde Memorial trophy, and 12 other world and international champions who reigned in their divisions in what is considered the most successful year for Filipino boxers in the international arena.
The awards night is presented by the clan of ?Da Flash? and sponsored by Pagcor, PCSO, Family Rubbing Alcohol, Casa Belrina Travel Consultants, Johnson & Johnson, Reli Tours and Travel, Elorde Sporting Goods International and Elorde Sports Center.
