Can Timothy Bradley shock the world?

If you ask Timothy Bradley, nobody should be shocked. This guy is 100 percent confident that he’s going to defeat Manny Pacquiao and take the top spot as king of the hill. Bradley is eager to get into the ring, and he’s eager to shock the world.

Now that’s all well and good, and I for one think that Tim Bradley is a fantastic fighter, and he will be no walk in the park for Pacquiao but if he thinks that he’s just going to get in there and dethrone the king, well let’s just say that he better be ready.

Pacquiao from all reports is as clear minded as ever. He’s gotten things right within his personal life, and he’s 100 percent focused for this fight.

Recently, I spoke with Pacquiao’s conditioning coach Alex Ariza, and asked him about Manny’s leg cramping issue. Ariza said that they are making some adjustments in the training plan in order to fix it.

The leg cramping for Pacquiao has been an issue in the past few fights, but Ariza says it shouldn’t be a problem going forward. A healthy, well focused Pacquiao doesn’t bode well for Tim Bradley.Bradley knows that this is the biggest fight of his career. He understands that a victory over the great Manny Pacquiao shoots his stock through the roof.

Bradley is a tough customer, so he better be taken very serious. He dominated the current Jr welterweight world champion Lamont Peterson. He beat Peterson easily, so this can’t be over looked.

Bradley is a young fighter in his prime. He’s healthy, he’s fast, and he is not intimidated by Manny Pacquiao. This could make for an interesting fight. Bradley better be careful though. He better not let his confidence get in the away of his smarts. If he makes a mistake, Pacquiao will pounce on that mistake, and it could be an early night.

Does Bradley have the skill set to get by Manny Pacquiao? Perhaps. If I had to bet the farm on it, I would bet that Pacquiao prevails.
