Boxing sensation from Bolton, England, Amir Khan hit a stumbling block on the road to stardom last December when he defended multiple junior welterweight titles at our nation?s capital, Washington, D.C. against tough and skilled American, Lamont Peterson. After twelve grueling and exciting rounds Khan (26-2,18KO?S) ended up on the wrong end of a split and what many saw as controversial decision.

?Training camp for me is going to be in Philippines,? continued Khan who is scheduled to fly out to Manila on Wednesday with his decorated coach, Freddie Roach:? We have high altitude training and training alongside Manny Pacquiao. I am going to be prepared. I am going to change a lot of things in training camp. I am going to work on mistakes I made not to make them again and just work on new things. Freddie and Alex have set training camp open. I am already in training for this fight a lot earlier than normal. ?
