There’s been talk that perhaps Manny Pacquiao may have lost that fire that he once possessed. Honestly, I also made mention that perhaps Manny had lost that passion, that killer instinct that he once had. Maybe he has…. but maybe not.
Sources close to me tell me that Manny has made a 180 degree turnaround with things in his personal life. I am being told that Manny is very happy, and things with him and his wife are much better.
There’s almost a calming effect going on here. I think it’s very possible that people are seeing not a Pacquiao that lost his fire, but rather a Pacquiao that is very calm, relaxed, and focused.

Pacquiao and Tim Bradley will square off soon enough, and we will get to test this theory. Manny suffered leg cramps in his last two fights. It will be interesting to see how his legs hold up this time. Ariza (Pacquiao conditioning coach) will be addressing that issue and hopefully it gets fixed. Advertisement
Bradley is a young primed and ready challenger. He’s quick, and he will show up to scrap that’s a guarantee. Pacquiao on his worst day gives Bradley trouble, so for any kind of upset to take place, Timmy will have to fight a perfect fight. I don’t foresee an upset in this fight, but hey, it’s boxing and anything can happen.
Father Time strikes a fighter when he least expects it to. Pacquiao is not getting any younger and he’s been in some wars, so it’s something to take note of. I don’t think he’s fading all too much, but again, time will certainly tell.
Freddie Roach is enjoying the success of his HBO show ”On Freddie Roach.” He’s one of the toughest guys on the planet, and I admire the man. He does what he enjoys, and he doesn’t let anything stop him. Roach and Pacquiao have done this many a time. Once more they will prepare and Manny will be ready.
Bradley knows that a win over Pacquiao sends him through the atmosphere. His stock shoots through the roof, and he immediately lands in another tax bracket. Bradley will be ready too, and you know what? He better be.
