MANILA — Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao arrived at the Manila City Hall to pay a courtesy call on Manila Mayor Jose “Lito” Atienza, a known boxing aficionado and sponsor.
Hundreds of employees of the Manila City Hall left their offices to greet the pugilist, who won over Mexican boxer Oscar Larios by a unanimous decision in a bout held at the jampacked Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Sunday.
Pacquiao will motor around Manila after his visit of the Manila City Hall.
He will also be receiving a medal of recognition from President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo during the day. (Sunnex)
