JASON Pagara, regarded as one of the best young lightweight prospects in the Philippines, saw his dreams of going big shattering last year after losing to Mexican Rosbel Montoya.
Pagara is back and will try to impress his promoters on March 3 as he takes on Indonesian champion Frans Yarangga in ?Pinoy Pride 12 ? Bakbakan sa Bohol? in Tagbilaran City.
?Right now with Jason, we have to see where his level is at. He had some personal problems when he lost to Montoya. We are bringing him back slowly and see how he performs,? said ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer.
Pagara is 27-2 with 16 knockouts, while Yarangga is 10-1 with seven knockouts.
In the main event, Rey ?Boom-Boom? Bautista is trading leathers with experienced former world title contender Genaro Garcia.
