The reigning world champion Nonito Donaire had plenty to say in this exclusive 8CN interview. Donaire is coming off of an impressive victory over Wilfredo Vasquez Jr. The champ admits in this interview that the Twitter attacks launched by Vasquez and his Mrs Vasquez insulted both he, and his wife. Donaire tells 8CN that he was gunning for a knockout early on in the fight and that the hand injury happened early, around the 2nd or 3rd round.
Donaire also confirms to 8CN that a fight between himself and Jorge Arce is in the works. He tells 8CN that Top Rank has started the ball rolling to make this fight next. This would be a very exciting and interesting fight. Arce Vs. Donaire has big name marketability, and would do well if put on in Mexico, Philippines, or Vegas.
