Moments ago in San Antonio, Texas, Fil-Am star Nonito Donaire and his February 4th opponent Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. worked out in front of the public in advance of their clash at the Alamodome on Saturday night.
Donaire is moving up to the junior featherweight class and will be going after the vacant WBO strap, the same title Vazquez used to hold before his upset loss to Jorge Arce last May.
Donaire and Vazquez had been cordial towards one another but things erupted last night as the two sides began taking shots at one another on their personal Twitter accounts, making the matchup a bit more interesting.
Donaire-Vazquez was already an interesting fight to me but it just become a bit more intriguing.
