Floyd Mayweather should not take Manny Pacquiao’s sloppy seconds. This would hurt his credibility. The reason why this fight will not make sense is because Floyd has always accused Manny Pacquiao of fighting his leftovers. Well this is exactly what is happening now if this fight goes through. Manny Pacquiao not only dropped Miguel Cotto in their fight but he also went on to stop him. Miguel Cotto is as flat footed as they come and for Manny and Floyd it is a very easy fight.
Now one has to wonder why Miguel Cotto would not want a rematch with Manny Pacquiao? Cotto has gone on to say that he will not come down to 147lbs but would you atleast be willing to drop to 150lbs? A rematch would be great especially since you’ve said you know you would beat him a second time. Now does Floyd want to come all the way up to 154lbs or does he want a catch weight of 150lbs? If so, then you can get your rematch with Manny at 150lbs.
Now here is something that is still confusing. Cotto says he is done with his contract with Toprank, but when you listen to reports from Bob Arum he is saying that Cotto is still signed. So which one is it? Is Cotto truly a free agent? We need more clarification from Bob Arum, because if he isn’t then Bob can stop this fight at anytime. Show me the Money !!!
