Moments ago, bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire was spotted in San Antonio, Texas, in advance of his clash this weekend with former champion Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. at the Alamodome.
Donaire faces the livewire Puerto Rican on Saturday night on HBO?s airwaves, with the vacant WBO junior featherweight crown on the line. Vazquez used to hold the same WBO bauble but lost it last year in an upset to Jorge Arce and is looking to redeem himself.
Donaire staged his training camp in Las Vegas, Nevada as opposed to the Bay Area of California this time around and trained like a madman, pushing himself more and more as the camp marched forward.
