Earlier today in Las Vegas, Nevada, bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire hosted an open media workout exactly a week before his next fight against Wilfredo Vazquez Jr.
Donaire will be traveling to San Antonio, Texas this coming week, as he meets Vazquez on HBO?s airwaves in a clash for the vacant WBO junior featherweight crown. The fight is serving as a co-feature to WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.?s bout with streaking Mexican Marco Antonio Rubio.
Any expert will tell you that it is Donaire who is the most talented fighter from that card but he figures to have a decent test in front of him in the form of Vazquez, who last year surrendered the WBO belt he is again fighting for in an upset to Jorge Arce at the MGM Grand.
