Just how many miles can one person kick a can down a road? Floyd Mayweather is all but begging Bob Arum to make the big fight. Yes, I know Floyd has been using Twitter, but if the President of The United States can use Twitter to talk to the people, so can Floyd.
I have been telling you fans for quite awhile now what is going on here. I have been blasted by some fans, and even received a few ignorant death threat Emails, but that’s fine.
It’s all about the almighty dollar my friends. As I have been reporting for many months now, Arum is all about setting up Manny Pacquiao with his own fighters. He keeps it all in the family so that he can maximize his earnings. Do you think he would be able to control the purses and the PPV buys if Mayweather and Al Haymon were involved?
The fans are finally starting to see what’s going on here now. It’s not Floyd Mayweather, it’s not Manny Pacquiao, it is Bob Arum that is holding this fight up. Many of you fans have challenged me in the past demanding that I site my sources for certain things that I have said. Look, the bottom line is a lot of my sources asked to be left anonymous. They know that if their names get out there, it will come back on them. Boxing is a disgusting and vile sport outside of the ring. People are vindictive, liars, and cut throat idiots at times.
So now we have Floyd Mayweather telling the world that he has his purse guarantee, a date, and a venue. Prior to Floyd’s jail date being postponed Arum was telling the world that Manny would be ready to fight in May, and he put out the names of 4 possible opponents, Marquez, Cotto, Bradley, and Peterson. The minute Floyd’s jail date was postponed to June 1st, Arum spins around and tells the world that Manny would not be ready by then, he says that Manny’s cut is still healing from the Marquez fight, blah blah blah. More dupe jobbing at it’s fullest.
Very respectable boxing journalists such as Dan Rafael put Arum on blast on Twitter saying it was Top Rank that’s holding up this fight. Rafael is right too.
Pacquiao himself told the media in the Philippines that he too wants Mayweather and he is good with a 50/50 split. Manny has been very reasonable. The only knock that I have on Manny is that perhaps he could have demanded that Arum make the fight. I don’t want to speculate too much here because perhaps Manny did in fact demand it, and we just don’t know about it.
The bottom line here is this, Mayweather wants the fight, Pacquiao wants the fight, the fans want the fight, and Arum doesn’t.
Stop with the nonsense Arum, make the fight.
