It?s an honest and revealing statement from the devout Catholic, who in the past has been the subject of infidelity rumors. In fact, on the eve of his fight with Juan Manuel Marquez, Pacquiao and Jinkee reportedly had an argument that many believe may have impacted his performance.
?My faith in Him is there 100 percent, but behind it, I was still doing the Devil?s advocate. I was still doing evil,? Pacquiao explained to ABS-CBN News. It?s unclear as to what ?evil? he was referring to, however, with the new year, it appears that Pacquiao is looking forward to putting the past behind him and rededicating himself to his Faith and his family. Let?s hope that his renewed focus will translate into his boxing career as he gets set to take on new challenges in the sport. While his next move has yet to be revealed, Pacquiao is rumored to be eyeing a June 9 rematch with old foe Miguel Cotto. Ironically, it was Jinkee who broke the news, revealing to reporters that ?he wants Cotto?. Whether or not the fight comes to fruition for Pacquiao remains to be seen, however, it?s good to see both he and his wife are united and happy.
