Upon hearing that Thiago Silva was reinstated by the UFC after being suspended for submitting a fake urine sample for their fight wherein he had his nose grotesquely broken, Fil-Am MMA fighter Brandon “The Truth” Vera wasted no time in letting his desire of getting back at the disgraced former UFC title challenger known.
Vera took to Twitter and wrote on Jan. 9, “Good Morning FB!!! I just heard my dear friend Thiago Silva is back…… I want that ass. No H_m_.”
It’s been more than a year since Vera’s fight against Silva, which is also his last inside the UFC octagon. I was actually cageside in Las Vegas covering the fight which was on the undercard of UFC 125 headlined by Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard’s rematch, and based on what I saw, I would definitely want to extract payback on Silva as well if I were Vera.
