It is Mayweather?s umpteenth challenge against his bitter Filipino rival for bragging rights as the world?s best pound for pound boxer. Unfortunately, it may again be a quintessential Mayweather braggadocio that will never go beyond verbose calisthenics.
For all his flamboyance and self-proclaimed greatness, Floyd never fought a handful of men many thought he should have fought. He came close to fighting Pacquiao in 2009 only to scuttle it with his ludicrous demands. And now, he wants to make it appear his Filipino nemesis is the one avoiding the fight.
