When I was surfing through Twitter earlier I saw where Floyd Mayweather Jr called Manny Pacquiao a ”Punk” and I have to admit, I started to laugh a little bit. Pacquiao is no punk, and for Floyd, a guy about to see a 6X9 cell for 3 months, insulting someone probably isn’t very productive. However, it is nice to see Floyd state clearly that he wants Pacquiao next, and he tweeted this to his over one million followers.
Pacquiao recently told the world that he will tell Bob Arum that he wants to fight Mayweather next. OK, so let’s get this straight. If Pacquiao wants to make his fans happy, something that he always says, and if he is telling Arum that he wants Mayweather next, and Floyd Mayweather just tweeted to over a million followers that he wants Pacquiao, then what’s the problem?
Mayweather calls Pacquiao a ”punk” and tells him to ” step up and give the fans what they want.” Pacquiao tells everyone that he’s going to tell Arum that he wants Mayweather next, not any of the 4 names Arum is proposing. What’s the problem? If this is all true, then there is only one person that doesn’t want this fight, and that is Bob Arum.
