Manny Pacquiao is now in the Hot Seat, thanks to non other than his promoter Bob Arum. Who takes the general public on a spin. Yesterday he claim that the plastic surgeon Jeffrey Roth said that Manny Pacquiao can?t begin sparring until April 1st because of the cut that Roth personally stitched up on November 12th. Which is strange because Roth hasn’t seen Manny Pacquiao since he returned home to the Philippines, so if he stated this to Pacquiao it would have been on November 12th, why are we hearing this now.
Have you ever heard of a doctor giving six months for a cut to heal, I’ve seen that only for health risk issues. Let’s say it does, Pacquiao wears a protective headgear with a bar to protect against cuts in sparring. What’s even ,ore surprising is the fact in 2005 against Eric Morales Pacquiao sustained a bad cut that bleed every round and was more of a problem than this cut ever was..He was back in the ring in six months against Hector Velazquez. Arum’s fail attempt to take most of the pressure off Manny Pacquiao and himself is to deflect it towards a seemingly inept doctor. Hope he’s not related to the Judge official Jerry Roth…well that’s for another day.
