SCOOP REPLY: Every commission has testing procedures, Nevada, New York and Indiana state commissions have caught steroid using cheaters. I trust the systems that are in place, not some cowardly boxer who all the sudden wants to test to death an opponent he knows might knock him out in brutal fashion. Floyd had his whole career to start this drug testing crusade. He only started this with Manny Pacquiao in 2010 because it was the most convenient and clever way to duck a high risk fight. Mayweather and Haymon could care less about cleaning up boxing, they want to rule the sport with their undefeated record. And a loss to Pacquiao ends their charade and destroys their leverage. I don?t see steroids as being a big issue in boxing. The testing system works. The greats of today are comparable to the greats of the past two decades. It?s not like we are seeing boxers now throwing over 500 punches a round or decapitating opponents or punching gaping holes in bodies. Pacquiao, Ward, Hopkins, Klitschko, Martinez are no more supernatural than Tyson, Duran, Leonard, Hagler, Jones.
