Much has been said concerning this whole entire Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao saga. Honestly, Pacquiao has not looked as dominant in his past few performances. The guy is human after all and he’s been in quite a few fights over the past few years. It’s just a matter of time before father time catches up to him.
When I spoke to ESPN’s Joe Tessitore earlier this year, he predicted that the big fight between Floyd and Pacquiao would happen, but only when both guys are past their primes and it would be a ”watered down” version of the big fight. It appears as if Tessitore is going to be 100 percent right.
Bob Arum certainly has not been in any rush to make this fight. The guy is a businessman and he knows how to maximize his earnings. Stacking nothing but Top Rank opponents one after another for Manny to fight certainly maximizes his earnings. He recently signed Tim Bradley, and he recently has been calling for a 4th fight Vs. Marquez. Keep it all in the family huh Bob?
