American trainer Freddie Roach predicted Tuesday that Manny Pacquiao can beat Mexican Oscar Larios within six rounds of their fight on July 2, ABS-CBN News learned.
Roach made his prediction after he and Pacquiao arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 4 a.m. from one-month intense training at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles.
Pacquiao proceeded to the Manila Hotel and took a rest before going to the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex for a two-hour light workout.
He, however, declined to predict about his fight against Larios, a former World Boxing Council super bantamweight champion.
Pacquiao said he is not taking Larios lightly because the Mexican is a former world champion.
