Talking to visiting Ring Magazine editor Nigel Collins is like browsing through a boxing encyclopedia. It?s unimaginable how much fight information is stored in Collins? brain. A computer would be a poor comparison.
Collins, 57, flew in last Friday to award the Ring championship belt to world featherweight titlist Manny Pacquiao. Or so I thought. After meeting Collins, I suspected the belt was just a convenient excuse to tour Manila. Collins had never been to Asia before and has long been fascinated by the history of Filipino fighters from the Pancho Villa to the Pacquiao era.
