MANILA, Philippines ? Eight-division world champion and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao, along with the rest of his family, is set to move into their multimillion peso-worth mansion in Forbes Park, Makati City early next year.
Bombo Radyo reported on Dec. 26 that the pound-for-pound king himself confirmed this, adding that the house?s interior design has already been finished.
Pacquiao also related that his wife Jinkee was in charge of the furnishings of their new home.
Reports about Pacquiao purchasing a three-storey, P 388M-worth mansion at the upscale subdivision?s Cambridge Circle first came out in June this year. Spot.ph reported that the estimated 1,500-square meter property that allegedly has its own tennis court was the former home of Roque Tordesillas, a senior vice president for sales and business development for Marsh Philippines (an insurance brokerage company).
Recently, the athlete-politician surprised his family with an Italian four-room, fully-furnished lavish yacht worth P 25 million, dubbed as the ?Ferrari? of yachts. It also came with three jet skis worth P1 million apiece.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao named meeting LA Galaxy star player David Beckham as his most memorable experience in 2011. Recall that the two athletes met when Beckham?s team played against the Philippine Azkals in a friendly match last Dec. 3 in Manila.
The boxer felt ?proud? when the British striker not only went up to him during the match but also handed him his jersey especially since it was his first time to watch a football game.
