Robert Garcia shuns Pacquiao-Marquez IV, says fans prefer Rios over Tim Bradley

Given the history of the situation, it seems very unlikely that we will ever see Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao in the same ring together. Whether the result of that can be pointed to each man?s ego, disagreements on money, or contradictions as to what, if anything, is taking place regarding negotiations, is unsure but it?s something people love to debate endlessly.

Pacquiao?s career must move forward with or without Floyd and given his less-than-stirring performances in 2011, it?s obvious he will be looking to make a statement in his next fight.

Last month the Filipino star struggled in pulling out a majority-decision verdict over Juan Manuel Marquez in a fight many felt he should have lost and promoter Bob Arum had initially expressed interest in a fourth encounter between the two fighters.

But given the close and controversial nature of the first three bouts, several people would prefer not to see that movie again, including Oxnard, Calif.-based trainer Robert Garcia.
