Earlier tonight at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward added the WBC bauble to his collection with a convincing unanimous decision over Britain’s Carl Froch.
The fight marked the finale of Showtime?s Super Six tournament as Ward?s solidified his standing as one of the sport?s most versatile and well-rounded champions. He outclassed the highly-confident Froch on this night, as he was simply sharper in all areas as well as possessing the speed advantaged and bullying his 34-year old foe on the inside with his physical strength.
