As discussed in the previous article, Andre Berto and Victor Ortiz hosted round table press conferences at Caesars Atlantic City to discuss their February rematch on Showtime. Both Berto and Dibella did not hide their feelings as to the Mayweather-Ortiz fight. Andre Berto and Lou Dibella both implied that Victor Ortiz quit against Floyd Mayweather as opposed to being knocked out. ?I?ve never seen anyone that happy after being knocked out. I hit Victor with much harder shots than Mayweather,? Berto said. Still having a tough time living down the Maidana fight where Ortiz did quit, Berto and Dibella are again raising doubt in the heart of Victor Ortiz, and there certainly seems to be an array of people who believe it. Perhaps its head games, perhaps its hype and perhaps its how Berto and Dibella really feel. This writer doesn?t agree. Victor Ortiz was caught off guard and got hit with two big shots by the greatest fighter in the world. A lot of fighters would have been knocked out by those shots, maybe even Berto.
