WORLD featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao on Wednesday endorsed the presidential bid of incumbent Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Malaca?ang said on Wednesday.
In a statement, the Palace said Pacquiao “raised the hand of the President and flashed the thumbs up sign with her in a gesture of support.”
The Palace said the President was one of Pacquiao’s “ardent supporters since he made his mark in the boxing world.”
It added that Ms Macapagal honored him “with audiences and monetary bonuses at Malaca?ang after his victories abroad.”
