Super Six final is Froch?s latest adventure

You wouldn?t look at him and suspect he?s a classic boxer, certainly not with a nose as crooked as the road to grandmother?s house. He?s not so much a boxer as he is a fighter, but it fits him well.

He?s 28-1 with 20 knockouts and is on an amazing run. The only opponent of his last six who wasn?t a world champion was one-time U.S. Olympian Andre Dirrell, whom Froch beat in the opening round of the Super Six tournament.

But from Dec. 6, 2008, when he knocked off Jean Pascal, through his semifinal win over Glen Johnson, Froch has fought nothing but the beasts of his division.

Froch is confident that his experience facing such elite opposition will be one of the differences in his championship match with Ward.

Since beating Pascal, Froch stopped ex-middleweight champion Jermain Taylor, beat Dirrell, lost a Fight of the Year candidate bout to Mikkel Kessler, dominated Arthur Abraham and pulled out a majority decision over Johnson in a rollicking bout.
