Lamont Peterson head trainer Barry Hunter sat down with 8CN Sunday morning and shared his thoughts on the big victory over former world champion Amir Khan. Hunter, who raised both Anthony and Lamont Peterson and took them off of the streets could not be any prouder. He speaks candidly about Lamont’s rise from a homeless kid to a world champion prize fighter.
Hunter breaks down the victory over Amir Khan and talks about a possible rematch. Barry also breaks down some of the rounds and what he saw that he liked, and what he did not like in Lamont’s performance. Hunter does tell 8CN that a Khan rematch is certainly an option but the deal would have to make business sense. That’s certainly a smart way to look at it.
