HOT POTATO via HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA – Manny Pacquiao’s embattled and so-called less powered adviser Michael Koncz who allegedly reported to have visited Floyd Mayweather, Jr. in Las Vegas in recent weeks may have just been on a ‘pre-ejaculated’ attempt to bypass Top Rank’s authority to initiate talks of the purported fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather, Jr.
“What Koncz did was such an unbecoming of a responsible party in Team Pacquiao,” says one popular confidant of Team Pacquiao who shares his views on condition of anonymity. “Unless he intends to interject his own agendum in the pre-negotiation stage so as to maximize his dollar-take, he should not take that route directly to the Mayweather camp.”
“His task only falls within the periphery of Team Pacquiao to bridge with Top Rank. Unless Top Rank relinguishes that responsibility being the sole promoter of Pacquiao, he should not touch that aspect because that only spoils the run-though of the negotiation once it is resumed. And there’s no way Top Rank would delegate that task to Koncz.” He adds.
