In the final press conference leading to their world title bout this Saturday night, December 10th, 2011 at the Hoops Dome Lapu-Lapu City, defending IBF international featherweight champion Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista (31-2, 23 KOs) and challenger Miguel Angel Mendoza (17-0-1, 17 KOs) are both hoping that neither will run away from each other. For Mendoza, he wants to take the Filipino down in six rounds. Bautista did not make a prediction but declared that he will make the Mexican eat his words.
?He has knocked 17 opponents out , which means he is a good fighter,? Bautista said, ?but let?s just see if he can do the same to me.?

A win for Bautista is crucial.
