The more people I talk to regarding Pacquiao’s next opponent, the more I am hearing that Arum is pushing for a 4th fight Vs. Marquez. Floyd Mayweather recently came out on FightHype.com and told the fans that negotiations are not going on, it’s all a lie. What gives with all of the smoking mirrors when it comes to Mayweather/Pacquiao talks?
I have said it before and I will say it again, Arum would much rather keep on force feeding Pacquiao nothing but Top Rank opponents. I mean as far as business sense, it’s smart for Arum to do that. He maximizes his earnings by keeping it all in the Top Rank house.
The fans are the ones who pay for it though. The fans for the most part don’t want a 4th fight Vs. Marquez. The fans for the most part want Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather next.
Tim Bradley was recently signed by Top Rank, and you can bet your bottom dollar that he is in line right next to Marquez as a future opponent for Pacquiao. It’s all about greed here and nothing about giving the fans what they want. If Arum truly wanted to give the fans what they want, then we would have already had a Pacquiao Vs. Mayweather fight. In fact, we probably would have seen the rematch between the two by now.
