Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. offers no joy for fight fans who still desperately want to see The Undefeated One cross gloves with Pinoy Idol Manny Pacquiao. Asked a direct question by Kevin Davis, a/k/a Karceno, in the second part of a two part interview for Boxingsocialist.com, Mayweather did the old dipsy doodle, the patented duck and dodge and finished with a shoulder roll. Karceno was straight to the point in asking whether “Money” believes Pacquiao will privately abandon his public, humble “I’m only doing my job, ask my promoter” shtick and issue a direct order to Bossman Bob Arum. The question was, in so many words, will Pacman ever demand Arum to bring him the head of Mayweather on a silver, no make that golden platter, so he can try to use it as his personal speed bag? The answer, as seen below, is a non answer with Mayweather heaping praise on Top Rank execs Todd and Deena DuBoef, and waxing enthusiastically about how Mayweather Promotions can work with Top Rank when 80 years old next month Bossman Bob is off the scene. This is disappointing because I think continued trash talk by Mayweayther will eventually (ok, soon) drive Megamanny nuts so that he will demand a Mayweather fight next. Anyway, here’s that answer and nonresonsive response:
K: Do you think Pacquiao can man up and get Arum to come to table so offers can be negotiated?
