When the final bell sounded for last night?s third encounter between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez, there were several ringside observers inside of the MGM Grand left with a feeling of shock. While Pacquiao was a huge favorite heading into the fight, it was Marquez who seemed the sharper of the two men and who appeared to land the more telling blows throughout the fight. And while Pacquiao would emerge victorious after capturing a majority decision by scores of 116-112, 115-113, and 114-114, it was a special night for Marquez, who proved his doubters wrong with a courageous and gritty display.
