BOXING champ Manny Pacquiao didn’t show up for his scheduled meeting Saturday with the editor of the esteemed Ring Magazine which will present him its version of the featherweight championship belt.
But Nigel Collins, the 58-year-old big boss of what is considered the “Bible of Boxing,” didn’t mind because the official awarding was reset at a later date and at a different venue anyway.
Pacquiao’s manager Rod Nazario said he thought Pacquiao was just joking when he told him that he can’t make it at the spanking new Wild Card Gym in Sucat, Para?aque.
“I thought he was joking because he told me he will fix the passports of his kids. I said it was Saturday,” Nazario told the Inquirer
