Moments ago in Las Vegas, Nevada, Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao made his grand arrival to the sea amidst a sea of fans as he hit up the main lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. Pacquiao defends his WBO welterweight title against Juan Manuel Marquez this Saturday night, in a bout that will serve as the third fight between the two men, and his arrival may mark one of his last as a prizefighter.
Like it or not, after 16 years and 58 fights as a professional, Pacquiao?s time in the sport is coming to a close and 2012 very well may serve as his last as a professional. Whether we get the fight we all want, a Pacquiao matchup with Floyd Mayweather Jr., remains to be seen but it is still a big event every time he fights regardless.
All one had to do was be inside of the MGM Grand earlier today to understand why.
