HOLLYWOOD ? These ?little fellas? aren?t giving Juan Manuel Marquez any chance against Manny Pacquiao.
?I?m picking rounds three, four and five,? said Gerry Pe?alosa, the former two-time world champion from the Philippines said Saturday.
Pe?alosa has been here for weeks now, and he said in each of his many visits to the Wild Card Gym, Manny Pacquiao only got stronger, bigger and faster.
The former WBC super-flyweight and WBO bantamweight champ from the Philippines said Pacquiao is ?super motivated? that Saturday?s fight shouldn?t last the distance.
And there?s so much emotion riding on this fight as well.
?May galit eh (There?s anger in him),? said Pe?alosa of Pacquiao who?s had enough of Marquez saying he had won their two previous fights in 2004 and 2008.
?That?s the reason he?s training so hard for this fight. Even in sparring, I?ve never seen him this way. He almost knocked out his sparring partner today.
?Na-groge talaga,? he said.
Brian Viloria, also a former world champion, said while it?s going to be a good fight, it doesn?t mean it?s going to be an even fight.
?It?s going to be a good fight, but it?s no-match. Manny is too polished right now,? said Viloria as he left the Wild Card Gym where he?s training for his Dec. 10 fight.
Viloria is the reigning WBC flyweight champion. He will defend his title against Giovani Segura in Manila.
Pe?alosa said Marquez will find no answer to Pacquiao?s deadly combination, even if during their first two fights the reigning WBO welterweight champion was still fighting one-handed.
?Ngayon, yung right hook and left straight niya, perfect na,? he added.
While others are hoping that Pacquiao doesn?t get too eager in going for the knockout, Pe?alosa said it?s not going to happen.
?Gigil? Hindi mangyayari kay Manny yan. Hindi naman yan baguhan (That won?t happen to Manny. He?s no greenhorn),? he said.
