Blah blah blah Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao in May huh? Blah blah blah. I will believe it when I see it. We have all traveled down this road before haven’t we? Let us pretend for a minute that his is actually true, and both fighters have all barriers removed and out of the way. If so, then Merry Christmas in May folks, we will finally get the fight that the entire boxing world has been waiting for.
This of course is all one big pile of smelly rumors right now. People can talk all they want but I won’t believe this until I see both guys at a press conference with Roach on one side and Ellerbe on the other side. I want to see contracts signed, sealed, and delivered before getting too excited.
If this does actually come true, both fighters can make up to 50 million dollars. Perhaps even more than that when it’s all said and done. If they can just make the 1st fight happen, then perhaps we can actually see a rematch. In fact, if they were smart, they would put a rematch clause in the contract. When you look at rematches, now we are talking about each guy making around 100 million dollars. Pretty crazy when you think about it isn’t it?
