8CN sat down with the former Jr welterweight world champion Paulie Malignaggi and got his thoughts on his most recent win over Orlando Lora. Malignaggi looked very impressive Vs. Lora, but even he admits that he needs better competition. Paulie is looking for the big stage again, and frankly, he deserves it. He has strung together three straight wins since coming up short Vs. Amir Khan back in 2010.
Malignaggi tells 8CN that he would like a crack at Devon Alexander. He also told 8CN that a drop down to 140lbs is very possible if the fight makes sense. Paulie has been training at Wild Card Gym and tells 8CN that he really enjoys the atmosphere and the increased sparring availability.
