When I spoke with Freddie Roach the other day he seemed very confident that Pacquiao would not be letting up on his opponent this time. When Manny fought Margarito, he carried him for the last few rounds of that fight, even to the point where he was giving the referee that, ” wow I can’t believe you aren’t stopping this” look.
Pacquiao out of compassion has had a tendency to show mercy on his previous opponents. When the beatings go so severe, Pacquiao would let up some. In this fight Vs. Marquez, according to Freddie Roach, we will see no compassion. Roach explained, ”I don’t think Manny will be letting up on this opponent. I think he will put Marquez down, and he will put him down on the floor for good this time.”
It wasn’t too long ago when JMM showed up in The PI with a T -Shirt that said he beat Manny twice. This definitely did not go over too smoothly with Manny and his team. Roach went on to say, ” Manny felt disrespected by that and he’ll take care of it inside of the ring in November.”
