Donaire never found his grove as Argentinean Omar Narvaez showed how durable he is by simply putting up a defense.
Narvaez was in no mood to engage after the first four rounds when he tasted half the strength of Donaire in one of those few exchanges. He was never in danger throughout the fight and he saw no need to endanger himself. The way he fought, Narvaez surely thought he is going to lose. So, at 36 and a few more fights left in him, why bother lose in a devastating manner? After all, he is walking away from the fight still a super flyweight champion.
