8CN sat down with the current WBO NABO super featherweight champion Eloy Perez. He’s got a big fight coming up Vs. the tough Ira Terry (24-6-14KO) scheduled for October 28th at the Sherwood Inn in Salinas, CA. Perez is currently undefeated and he looks to continue his winning ways Vs. Terry. His rise in the super featherweight division demands respect, and guys like Adrien Broner need to take notice. Broner is scheduled to fight Vincente Rodriguez for the vacant WBO title. Perez would love a crack at the winner of that one.
Perez tells 8CN that he does have an interest in moving up in weight, perhaps as high as 140 when the time is right. Obviously there is more money at 140 than there is at 130, so a move up in weight makes money sense. For the time being, Perez looks to conquer the 130 lb division then see what happens next.
