People are pointing fingers at Mayweather and Pacquiao, blaming both fighters for the big fight not happening, but should they be? Everybody and their brother wants to see the big fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Many of Pacquiao’s fans call Floyd a chicken and say that he is scared to fight. I highly doubt that. In the same breath, many Mayweather fans say Pacquiao is dodging because he’s using steroids. I highly doubt that too.
Take a look at the opponents that Pacquiao has been fed. How many of them are Top Rank fighters all under contract with Bob Arum? Bob makes a lot more money by stacking Pacquiao nothing but Top Rank fighters one after another.
Floyd Mayweather is promoted by nobody. He controls his own destiny and asks for whatever sum of money that he wants. Bringing in Floyd to fight Manny means that Arum doesn’t have full control of the money.
