Timothy Bradley?s name recently was thrust back into the spotlight when it was announced that the Palm Springs, Calif. Fighter had signed an exclusive deal with Top Rank Promotions. The WBO champion at 140 pounds, Bradley is next slated to see action on the November 12th Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez III undercard in Las Vegas but people are already beginning to chart his next move.
If both Pacquiao and Bradley are successful come November, it already seems to be set that the two prizefighters will be meeting sometime in 2012. While not willing to confirm such rumors, Bradley did give his thoughts on facing Pacquiao in a recent interview with ESNewsReporting.com.
?There?s no truth to it, nothing set in stone,? said Bradley. ?I do want to move up in weight, maybe after this fight. I am getting older, I?m 28 now, and the weight, hitting 140, is getting a little bit harder for me. But that?s always a possibility. He?s the best pound-for-pound fighter in the game. I want to fight that guy. I feel I can compete with that guy. I definitely feel that I am on his level. If that if that fight does happen I am going to surprise a lot of people. We?re going to have to wait and see.?
