Earlier today in Hollywood, California, it was announced by Top Rank promoter Bob Arum that his company has signed junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley to an exclusive contract. Bradley is slated to be seeing action on the November 12th Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez III undercard in Las Vegas, NV after sitting out on the sidelines since his January victory over Devon Alexander.
There?s no secret to what is taking place here, as Bradley, who turned down a reported offer of $ 1.4 million to face WBA and IBF champion Amir Khan this summer, will surely be looking at a matchup with Pacquiao in the spring or summer of next year. The Palm Springs fighter received a lot of criticism for passing up on the chance to face Khan but a meeting with Pacquiao is that much more lucrative for him.
