Perspective: For the past few months, various reports around the sport have surfaced regarding a potential showdown between Amir Khan and Floyd Mayweather. How likely is the showdown to happen? Some would say not at all. Others would say maybe. Me personally……I’d say highly possible, and it all starts with the fact that this is a fight that has “Mayweather” written all over it. There’s a reason we know him as “Money”, and despite Khan not quite being the biggest name in the sport, there are many things he brings to the table that other contenders which fight fans would like to see Mayweather face, like Sergio Martinez, do not. For starters, not only the support of a country, but one (U.K.) that has a bigger following in the sport than practically any other.
