Earlier today, three of the sport?s biggest names were spotted training for crucial bouts in their respective careers.
On October 1st, former WBO featherweight Juan Manuel Lopez will get back on the horse when he faces off with twice-beaten Mike Oliver in his native Puerto Rico. Lopez is coming off of an upset loss to Orlando Salido in April and he must get past Oliver before avenging that defeat.
On the same night, Argentinean marvel Sergio Martinez, recognized as the best middleweight in the world, will be facing the challenge of London?s unbeaten Darren Barker. While it isn?t the fight we would prefer to see from Martinez, he?s such as special talent that he is always worth watching.
On December 3rd, Tijuana?s Antonio Margarito will find himself inside of Madison Square Garden in New York as he meets Miguel Cotto in an anticipated rematch. Margarito handed Cotto his first defeat three years ago in Las Vegas and already appears to be in tremendous shape, as further evidenced during his regimen with stable mate Jackie Nava.
