Victor Ortiz will have his brief moments but Floyd Mayweather Jr should take this fight very easily and regain a portion of the welterweight crowns in boxing.
No way Floyd will place himself in a position where Ortiz can unload his bombs. I seriously believe Floyd?s strategy will be to frustrate Ortiz all night long by making the champion chase him all over the ring.
I see Ortiz going down in the second half of their title fight. For all his newfound self-confidence, shedding off the stigma of quitting on Marcos Maidana will work against him if he will foolishly chase Mayweather around the ring.
Standing in the middle of the ring will not do him any wonder either. That is like tying a rabbit in the middle of the ring where a hungry lions is lurking.
Ortiz simply does not have the speed to be able to pressure and catch Mayweather off guard nor the intimidating presence that will make the flamboyant Floyd think twice.
Floyd will make Ortiz look like a lost boxer making his pro debut.
