When I called up respected trainer Naazim Richardson early on Tuesday morning, I had a plan in mind to go over the careers of his star pupil Bernard Hopkins, as well as prominent talents Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. In the first part of my interview with Richardson we discussed Hopkins? incredible longevity as well as his motivation at 46 years old heading into his October 15th date with former champion Chad Dawson.
When the time came for Richardson to discuss Floyd Mayweather?s career, you could instantly sense some admiration coming from North Philadelphia trainer. But while Richardson is quick to point to Mayweather?s impeccable skills inside of the ring, he too speaks with a soft heart when showing some concern towards the five-division champion.
