It took a while for today?s final ?Star Power? press conference to get going, but when it did, there was a noticeable exchange of words between trainer Danny Garcia and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Garcia trains WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz, who defends his belt against Mayweather this Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
During his time on the dais, as he spoke inside of the MGM?s Hollywood Theater, Garcia took a few pokes at Floyd, begging him to fight a clean fight. Garcia insisted that Mayweather has often used his elbows in previous bouts to his advantage and pleaded for him to not turn his back to Ortiz as he has done in the past, a surefire sign, says the trainer, that Floyd is scared.
