8CN recently spoke with undefeated welterweight prospect and US Olympian Sadam Ali (14-0-8KO) This kid has all of the tools to reign as champion one day. Ali is coming off of another nice win over Boris Berg. Ali Vs. Berg was part of the Klitschko Vs. Adamek card in Poland. Ali talks about the win and about his experience in Poland.
8CN ? Thanks for joining us.
SA ? No problem man.
8CN ? You just added another win. Talk about your performance in Poland.
SA ? I think it went well. I out boxed him. It went 5 rounds and it was supposed to go 6. He couldn’t answer the bell for the 6th.
8CN ? How do you feel about your performance?
SA ? He was a little bit awkward so I couldn’t let go of all of my combinations. I didn’t get hit at all in this fight. I worked on making him miss.
8CN ? I know you took a pretty good lick in your last fight. Is that the reason you worked on making opponents miss? (laughs)
SA ? (laughs) Oh absolutely man. Who wants to get hit like that? I got caught good in my last fight. I shook it off. It happens in boxing. If you don’t know how to handle getting hit with a big punch you are not going to be successful in boxing.
8CN ? I didn’t see your last fight. What exactly happened?
